Night crawling in Deptford, with Mark Goss from Curious Fiend, and Alexander James, from Alex & Cocco, led to these great photos being taken until the early hours. Definitely worth the aches.

A true feast for a beast. This baby had us running around a remote rooftop in canary wharf for a couple of hours, no doubt I will get hold of the imagery soon as..

Corruptless.

For those in the know, and understand. Pure relief.

No better place.

A place I have been spending a lot of time training is Victoria Park, Mile End. Some great scenery and equipment to work with, this being one of the more intriguing of them all.

Royal Marine Cammando's.

Ooh rah.

I am just back from what can only be explained as another EPIC trip to the Royal Marine Commando's Base in Exeter. To put it simply I am loving training with Marines, sharing training tips, trying new things, and having crazy experiences. The guys who I have been training with are an Inspiration.
I managed to do the Royal Marine Endurance course for the second time. It consists of 2miles of boggy land, tunnels full of water, wading through water up to your shoulders etc, then jogging 4 miles back to camp with full weight and rifle. Here are just a few snaps I managed to grab..

Detroit Red.

Let me introduce you to Detroit Red, a good friend of anyone who goes to the Urban Freeflow Academy.
He has be going since pretty much day one, and is never without good vibes.
Back in the day he had a shaved head, but due to being a bit broke, was unable to attend. I made a deal with him, if he grew his hair and didn't cut it, I would let him come in for free. I thought I might aswell get some comedy value out of this, so the height of his afro represents how long he has been coming in for a discounted price. haha.

In The Midnight Hour ..

"Sooooo yup yup In The Midnight Hour when we sleep, I had too much energy and thought I would have a little session on the olde hands. A lot of the better stuff was at the end of some clips on my camera, and when using a bobtech video converter it chopped them in half and only gave me the first half due to it being a trail version which kinda prangged me out, anyhoo ladies and genitals here's the stuff it let me have!"

Blood, Sweat, and Fears

Here is also a small something to keep you entertained while I best figure how to capture some footage and upload some pics. Aswell as one on one Parkour tuition, I also teach the Urban Freeflow Academy every friday with Asid. This video was cooked up by a regular practioner who is a filmmaker(Incomingchaos) and gives an insight into one of many different types of classes..

sticky@urbanfreeflow.tv

The bringer of good news..

Things have been totally off the hook lately and I have had zero minutes to update this , my bad.

I have trained with the Royal Marines, taught them, then they taught me, hit Barcelona for a Hewlett Packard Performance, flew to Vegas to deliver an award to Samuel L Jackson, hit a wedding,a small family break,a trip to Wales, and haveo nly just stopped. I am planning to upload photos and video from everything asap and get it all up.

Here is maybe one of my favourite videos I have been part of, if you are wondering, I am the Blonde dude now who starts the video.

Enjoy.

Be part of the SEEN.

Yo,

Camera and film giants, FujiFilm, are currently sponsoring me for a Parkour film project which will be taking place over the winter months. After much discussion, It will intially involve an 'eye of a freerunner' gallery being produced which will showcase well known places around the U.K and the views I have seen from training on them, i.e. The Angel of the North, HMS Belfast, Tyne Bridge, A trip to Liverpool etc.

To add to this FujiFilm have got together with www.facebook.com and created a hybrid site. This site will regulary be updated with videos, blogs and photos, of me and my training, plus, extra blogs from people such as Patrick Wolf (Amazing musician), Camille Bennett (up and coming fashion designer), Fifi Brown (best friend of peaches Geldof, part of trash pussies, and DJ's all over the globe).

To become a member and to join now to check it all out go to:

BOOM...HEADSHOT!

I have just returned from teaching the first Parkour/Freerun workshop to the Army. Soldiers from the 4th Battalion of the REME.
I was totally stoked to be able to have the opportunity to train with the guys and pass on some knowledge, and the overall vibe was so dope. Everyone was giving everything a go and commiting 100%, it was great to see them take certain aspects of it like ducks to water. I just want to say a special thanks to Captain Fulford for making all the necessary arrangements and for giving the Academy a go the week before. ( For some secret practice ).

Gym sesh.

Just some footage taken from my mob and chopped together quickly from the other night with the team. I have taken half of them to the streets, just need to get the other half to the same place.
Maybe a longer full on sampler on it's way ? If I have time amongst UF, training all the time, Uni and all the rest of lifes little events.

EYE OF THE TIGER.

I am currently working with Fujifilm who are creating a 'Micro-site' to help promote the new Z10 camera. The micro site will be a group on facebook.com which if you wanted, you could join and read updates from a handful of so called 'creative' people who are up to stuff these days. I have been asked to be a sport 'ambassador' for the new Z10 camera and take it around with me when I am out training and post a blog along with photos of what I have been up to on the site. This recently developed with the interest from Men's Health Magazine. We then together, came up with the idea of creating a small gallery 'Through the eyes of a traceur/Freerunner 'which will be published in one of the issues. It would involve me going around iconic landmarks around the U.k and snapping away while I'm training or where I was climbing around. So ideally, the viewer would see what It would be like to be free, as all of us are who do the discipline.
First off was Newcastle a couple weeks ago, I cannot say I know the person who is pictured climbing the Angel of the North. haha.
But I can say that I had permits to builder up the Tyne Bridge which was alot of fun despite all the bird poop and headless birds up there. ( Pigeons, not geordie lass's just randomly chilling up on the bridge).

Here are just a handful of what we got .

After a hard day sessioning the streets with Blue it was time for some Dunkage.

SHOUT FOR HELP.

All I have to say is bwahahahaha! I found this on my old hard drive before formatting it. It was during the time we worked for Vauxhall for there Vauxhall tribes promotion. This badboy was in the teen magazine called 'Shout'.

The Messenger.

So I did a shoot a looooooooong time back from a stock photographer wearing smart threads and thought nothing of it, anhyoo, someone kindly told me they had seen me and Bam on the MSN France homepage.. bizarre. Laugh it up.

BackToBack

After finishing an American deodrant Commercial in Prague this summmer, me and Bam were told two days before leaving home for Prague that we wold be flown to Portland, Oregon State for 3 days to take care of the print campaign, I was so stoked! Back to back trippage. The whole Prague trip was amazing which led to the team really stepping up and rep'ing. There is a still below of a Roof gap which I executed for the advert in Prague, along with a few images taken in our down time in Portland, one is outside the Adidas store in POrtland where we were todl we would get up to 50% off, needless to say, the whole production crew dived straight in... Transmission dates are looking to be towards the end of this year.

"A big thank you goes out to Goodfilms Inc and special thanks to Dawson, Jeff Stonehouse, Patrick Fischer and biggest tip of the hat saved for Andrew Walton, for being one of a rare breed of directors who fully understands what we do and how to capture it..".

MY NAME IS KEVIN.

BaBOOM,

Two weeks ago Bam, Blue, Livewire and myself were shadowed by Kevin Zacher on a day out training in London, ( Elephant & Castle and waterloo area). The minute we hooked up with Kevin there was a great chemistry which gave the whole day a buzz.
The shoot had such a good vibe with everyone busting out of the skins, I'd go as far as saying it wasn't a shoot at all, we merely just went about training as we would any other day. Here's a few stills 'Bam Sandwich' managed to grab ..

Motorola RAZR 2

Me , myself, I , Livewire and Kerbie recently did a 3 day tour visiting Bristol, Birmingham and my home town ( Nottingham) to film a viral advert for the new Motorola RAZR 2, and to increase awareness of the new product. We were also dressed up as Manga characters.. Here's a few photos the production company kindly gave us from the busy 3 days.

Academy In full effect.

Yagga ladies and genitils!

It's been a while since I have updated the blog.. which I guess is a good thing as I have been completely on it with training like a spartan , and on it with everything else in my life. Things are both busy and enjoyable at the minute.
The Parkour/Freerun Academy (taught by myself and Asid) is going very well with good turn out's and good levels of progression every week. We were lucy enough to have a visit from Blue and his SLR the other night to capture some behind the scenes agony..

EMERGENCY!!!

Mannnnnnnnnnn, I do not know where to begin! I haven't got long to write much as I am in Rome and heading to the south (Tuscany), so bare with the shorthand style write-up.

As you know I have been swimming like a beast lately, 150 lengths a session, and training for a triathalon on top of all of that and my normal training..well, in the last two days I managed to swim miles to a pier in the worst conditions ever with my cousin in a canoe.. the weather took a turn for the worst and in the cosing 25 meters of the swim I was unable to swim away from he pier (which was standing on large concrete/metal pillars). The waves got up to around 13ft and I had the choice to either be smacked into a pillar by a large wave, or swim to one and hold on to it between the large waves... so I waited for a momment then swam straight to it. The waves were crashing full force against the pillar as I held like a Koala Bear shouting and screaming for help, another wave would come and I feared it would smack my head on the pillar or tear me off It and slam me into another one. I remember as I was trying to fight the tide a large crowd in the coffee shop on he pier were pressed against the window... I was thinking to myself YO this is the sort of stuff that happens on 999 lifesavers..I could see it now ... 'Johnny had been out in Frinton swimming for the second time in two dayswhen a he got caught out by the tide....' etc ahaha. Each wave that came covered the whole pillar fiercly with water and submersed me under water. I was cold at the point from swimming 1.5 hours and hardly had any energy. I feared for my life and have never been so scared as the water was coming in so fast and there was a strong sea wind. my cousin said I was shouting 'we need a boat we need a boatttttt '!He also told me once my shock had worn off that I aslo shouted MUM in my time of need ahahaha Man that is not cool, I shouted for mum! Anyyay I thought I was going to die so it i kinda justified! I managed, somehow (I have no idea how) to let go after being on the pillar for a good minute, and swim away from the pier a couple of meters against the tide towards my cousins canoe.
To cut a long story short, I was swam to the pier twice in two days. The first time was ok, and the second time I swam from Frinton to Walton pier assisted with my cousin.
Ambulances, Air ambulance, crowds, hypothermia, severed torso with extreme cuts all on my arms and legs.

And this morning to top it off I managed to get an allergic reaction to medication I recieved from the hospital and had to be rushed to a hospital in rome and get treated for it. MAN. what a couple of days. I have photos of the all the damage from A&E with all those wierd tubes and tests going on so I'll pop them up when I have time.
Hope everyone is well and having a Jolly summer!!! ho ho ho-

Glad I am alive to see everyon I love again! Apologies again for typos and such a rushed story. x

Run..Forrest..Run...

YAAAGGA!

Looking forward to seeing Amir Khan fight tonight.. as I mentioned before, I had read some of his stuff, watched his dvd's and him training and have been really inspired by him.
I have been running alot lately every morning on top of regualr training. It started off at about 4 miles each morning, then at the end of last week I was doing 10 miles a morning, which I am keeping up, but a day ago I did half a marathon and feel good.. All in all training in every aspect is going very well. I feel like I will be able to run a Marathon very soon (if not now), in good time, and also complete a triathalon (my first) with all the training I'm doing. I hope everyones well and enjoying there summer with time off work/Uni/School etc ! Thing are busy in the Urban Freeflow camp with many Jobs planned abroad, and I'm also off to Rome for pretty much all of August. Here's a few photos I took with an original Canon AE-1 film camera i got hold off, no flash, no display or anything, during one of my last days of my first year at Uni.

Hannnnnnnnnnnnng time!

I have watched many inspiring videos lately and read books about, famous gymnasts, Olympic finalists, Bruce Lee, Amir Khan and his training, the greatest boxers that have been, runners like Maurice Green, Jesse Owen, and Michael Johnson, swimmers such as Phelps and Thorpe, Alain Robert and his one finger one arm pull-ups,along with tonnes of other great athletes and people who have succeeded in what they want to do, but for some reason, I got the dopest feeling watching this video by Salomon of the new winged suit for sky diving!haha..check this fool out..

Mojito!

Waattttzzzzzupppppppppp!!.. Here's Just a quick video of me trying to be good at some bartending flare, it's still early days and Is something I have been messing around with instead of the Diablo while I'm too knackered to train.
Just a brief update : I'm in Nottingham briefly before a bit of travelling with friends around Europe etc. Also on top of normal training I am taking up swimming as seriously as I used too, and am organising a sponsored sea swim in August, the distance shall not be short, to raise money for a worthy charity. I have felt like setting my self heavy duty targets this year, and helping people through sport is going to be one of them.

Part Two : Monte Carlo (Photos)

Roma !

Thing done on the trip.

Rome to Monte Carlo.

  • Visited Rome with special tour guides Stephano and Paulo (Two wicked guys from Italian Parkour).
  • Experienced a big N.B.A festival.
  • Saw a beggar man who is famously known as 'dogman'. I won't go into any further information.
  • Egg and Poo'n race. You can use your imagination. Haha.
  • Kerbie free styled the dopest MC'ing in front of everyone at the Parkour gathering on stage. - Absolutely killed it.
  • We hijacked the vehicles coca cola used to transport the crates off the coca coca girls (who were good sports).
  • Asid got choked out by the big man whilst he was flicking the shocker in both hands.
  • We filmed a video to be released involving one of the team getting treated brutally.
  • A whole night of teaching and training, under spotlights, with a great atmosphere until the early hours.
  • We went on a mission seeing how many shims/he-she's/she-mans/ladybugs we could find.
  • All meals and drinks were free.
  • Swimming with the fish in the sea for hours.
  • Rehearsals with a very professional choreographer who got the show looking sweet.
  • I had a big of an ad moment, when I was told I had to run through the audience to start the show for Mercedes, with an advert that I had done playing on the screen... it so dope...
  • Met Spidey for the first time on the trip in the hotel Jacuzzi wearing his bright red y-front finish pants as he had no swimming shorts.
  • We broke into the outside pools at midnight on stealth mission, around guards and hotel-goers.
  • Many hours in the sea playing various Frisbee and American football games.
  • Covering up Asid completely in sand.
  • I woke up with foam all over my face (due to Ez) but didn't realise it was him and went for Bam with more foam, he then retaliated with more foam... very shortly, me Bam and asid were all having a bath together. Photos to come.
  • Various handstand and tricking sessions
  • Livewire getting cornered by EZ and the removal of his mullet.
  • I got punched in the face by Bam.
  • Kerbie, who wasn't originally coming on the Mercedes leg of the trip surprised us all and popped up in Bam's hotel room.
  • Kerbie then just 'talked' about how 'he had seen someone who' could make sanitary bags in to water balloons, and none of us tried chucking them at anyone. Then we went to bed.
  • A competition for some Adidas Traceurs took place, where kerbside chucked them in the crowd; a winner was found who then ran onto to stage enjoying his catch..., Kerbie then got them off him and chucked them back into the crowd. Haha. (He got them back).
  • We brought a rubber dinghy, and then gave it to a small family with three little girls who all gave us little European double kisses.
  • Football rally’s in the streets of Rome.
  • Got a woman to pull a shocker.
  • Getting driven around Rome with Paulo who showed us the best of Italian Hip-hop.
  • Flicked a coin over my shoulder into the Trevi fountain.
  • Kitted out in new Adidas threads.
  • Plenty of grapes fights, one saw my caning one in the back of Ez's head from 20 metres away, and one which saw my tooth getting shutdown completely by Asid .

That's all I can think off on the top of my mind. Masses of photos to come and edits by Bam.

The eagle has landed !

Landed.
I have to say that was by far one of the best trips I've ever had - The vibe from the first momment we hooked up at the airport at the beginning of the trip was endless. Tonnes of photos, and vids will be up very soon with an Official Gallery being done by Ez at the momment. Plus I'm going to put a long list of the stuff we got up to online tonight. Here's just a quick pic I yoinked off the Glyph blog of us lot in Rome on our last day there..

The Italien Job + Monte'cedes.

Ear me now..
Just a quick shout to say I'm in Shottingham at the momment as I've finished my first year at Uni

(thank god ) which feels so dope and which means I can train as much as I need/want to till Oct ! I'm thinking of travelling around some of the world this summer hooking up with Traceurs from all over..
The reason I've headed home to pack, as we are preparing for a 3 day trip to head to the World Parkour gathering in Rome, Italy on Thursday.Over there we will be seeing some nice sites, meeting the Italiens, and generally training and enjoying the vibe. Then we fly back and arrive at midnight 4 days from now in Stansted, where we will head Heathrow for an early morning flight to Monaco for a 6 day job for Mercedes in Monte Carlo. Everyone has had there heads down training like Spartans, and it's going to be bo shank hoo har to get there, soak the sun up,drink some alot of milk, train on the beaches, chill the f*ck out, get loose, take in the place, and represent as a Unit.

Wish me luck, and I hope everyones doing ok .

Stinky.

Bits and pieces..

Boom. Two pieces of Parkour related Editorial Design I did at Ravensbroune. Blup.

Living it up..

Training super hard, hooking up with the Team, Uni life, trips, jobs, homework , doing graphics and teaching are keeping me seriously busy lately giving me no time to update this or do anything else pretty much ! However I have managed to dig out the Friday Night Project Trailer that I did with Livewire for channel Four. For those who haven't seen it, it resulted in me being painted white, ( hands and face) wearing a wig, and specs to double as Alan Carr ! I must add I was treated very well whilst being white. haha

Behind the scene..

I've just linked up the new pimp daddy hustler UF blog which has started and is in full effect at :

http://www.glyphting.blogspot.com : A random selection of stuff which we don't post on the main UF site....

Art of Movement.

Wah blow fools..
I've just had a rapide rumage through my hard drive and found a whole load of Parkour Related shizwhack (Artwork/experiments) which I have done through the years which I thought I'd pop up here. Bare in mind you can click on any of the photos to enlarge them.

An illustration based on the freedom of Parkour. I'm not sure whats up with the booger-snot green.

The original photo used in this was taken by Kiell with involved me on a roof top looking upon the evening skyline of Nottingham, so I made a stencil of myself and chucked it on my wall in my cellar to make some weird background for it , kinda looks like a sunset ? Haha. Maybe not.

Me out training, following me in an alley.

My final show which got me a ganster title of 'Most professional show' ! booom!

Another Illustration based on Parkour. Enjoyed the detail of that badboy.

This quote is something I thought had quite a relevance to Parkour.

This Illustration was drawn based on the importantance of particular muscles in Parkour.

STOCKHOLM !

Just put an Idea into motion,I have decided to go to Stockholm to see what`s popping for the weekend with some uni fools!! Should be interesting as all we have so far are the flights (ryanair oh yes) no rooms booked, nothing. haha. and we go in a couple of hours.

Plenty of pics and an edit to come, from the Simpel`Session 07 Bmx/Skate competition in Tallin, (Estonia) where we were flown over to do a demo infront of 6000 people for nokia! Eventful trip which has to be exposed in a video of some shape or form.
It`s been super-duper-power-trooper busy, with lots of training and conditioning, uni work + several deadlines, taking the parkour academy etc,...

Hope to write a significant something, somewhere or sometime or another.

Heres a small teaser of something to come, quick fire word association..but with some serious punishment if you stall.Up the volume.

Also, just forgot, this was made and filmed by people who do Broadcasting at Ravensbourne College. It`s got some old/new footage, with what was,a live interview in a studio with two hired presenters.(Interview starts at 1 min). When I said I had never been injured, I meant not badly! Not something I`m proud about as the parkour in it is proper weak, cringe worthy and rather old argh, but it`s here anyway..haha!

Wish me luck!

Rice and peace.

Hunger strikes !

We have all been here...it's 2am,you have been training or doing some homework or something, you are lying in bed, can't get to sleep, thinking more and more about going to sleep and jinxing youre chances of ever doing it, and feel like you could have a little something to eat to fill that void...

It was 2am, and hunger struck me like Zeus...
